Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

1.1. These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Tramway IT Solutions.
1.2. By purchasing from Tramway IT Solutions, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Orders and Payment

2.1. All orders placed with Tramway IT Solutions are subject to acceptance and availability.
2.2. Payments for orders must be made in full before the order is processed.
2.3. Prices are subject to change without notice.

3. Product Information

3.1. Tramway IT Solutions makes every effort to provide accurate product descriptions.
3.2. Product images and specifications may vary.

4. Delivery

4.1. Tramway IT Solutions will process and ship orders within the specified time.
4.2. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.
4.3. All products are shipped at the buyer’s risk.

5. Warranty

5.1. All products sold by Tramway IT Solutions come with a manufacturer’s warranty.
5.2. Warranty coverage is subject to the terms and conditions set by the manufacturer.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1. Returns:

  • If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product within seven days of delivery for a full refund, excluding shipping costs.
  • To qualify for a full refund, the product must be unopened and returned with all original packaging and materials.
  • For opened products, a re-stocking fee of up to 25% may apply, provided the product is returned in its original packaging with all included materials.
  • Products returned without some or all of the original packaging and materials may incur an additional fee.
  • Software and consumables (such as ink, paper, etc.) can only be returned if they have not been opened.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs and ensuring that products are packed securely for return. Tramway IT Solutions will not be liable for damages during return shipping.

6.2. Replacements:

  • All products sold by Tramway IT Solutions are covered by the manufacturer’s original warranty, valid for a minimum of one year from the date of order, unless otherwise stated.
  • If you encounter a faulty item, please contact us, and we will guide you through the return process. The customer is responsible for arranging the shipment of the faulty item back to Tramway IT Solutions. Tramway IT Solutions will cover the return shipping costs to send the item back to you.
  • In the event a product is Dead on Arrival (DOA) or becomes faulty within 30 days of delivery, Tramway IT Solutions will arrange a courier to collect the item at no extra cost.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Tramway IT Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of its products or services.
7.2. Tramway IT Solutions is not responsible for any data loss or damage to software or hardware during the installation of products.

8. Promotions and Discounts

8.1. Tramway IT Solutions may run promotions through its website, but these promotions are subject to stock availability and terms.
8.2. Tramway IT Solutions reserves the right to amend or cancel promotions at any time without notice.
8.3. Promotional items are not covered by warranties and the customer must contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.

9. Social Media Competitions

9.1. Tramway IT Solutions may run competitions through its social media platforms. Competitions are open to residents of South Africa aged 18 or over.
9.2. Only one entry per person will be accepted unless explicitly stated otherwise.
9.3. Winners will be notified via email or social media and must claim their prize within 14 days.
9.4. Tramway IT Solutions reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate the competition rules.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1. Tramway IT Solutions will treat your personal information as confidential and only share it in accordance with its privacy policy.
10.2. We use cookies to enhance the user experience on our website. You can choose to disable cookies, but this may affect your ability to use certain website features.
10.3. Tramway IT Solutions will not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent, except for service providers assisting with website operations and deliveries.

11. Force Majeure

11.1. Tramway IT Solutions will not be held liable for delays or failure to meet its obligations due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, or pandemics.
11.2. Tramway IT Solutions will attempt to inform customers of any delays as soon as possible.

12. Right of Admission and Refusal of Service

12.1. Tramway IT Solutions reserves the right to refuse service or access to its premises to any individual who engages in disorderly conduct or harms the company’s reputation.

14.1. Tramway IT Solutions reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.

15.1. These terms and conditions are governed by South African law, and any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate South African courts.


Return Policy

Returns:

  • If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product within seven days of delivery for a full refund, excluding shipping costs. To qualify for a full refund, the product must be unopened and returned with all original packaging and materials.
  • For opened products, a re-stocking fee of up to 25% may apply, provided the product is returned in its original packaging with all included materials. If the product is returned without some or all of the original packaging and materials, Tramway IT Solutions reserves the right to charge an additional fee at its sole discretion.
  • Products returned in opened packaging must be in resalable condition. Software and consumables (such as ink, paper, etc.) can only be returned if they have not been opened.
  • When shipping products back to Tramway IT Solutions, please ensure that they are carefully packed in protective materials. The order number and return address should be clearly visible on the package. Tramway IT Solutions will not be held liable for any damages that occur during shipping. We recommend insuring the return shipment for added protection.
  • If an order is cancelled by the customer before it has been shipped (before it has been fulfilled), a full refund, including delivery charges, will be issued. All payments made to Tramway IT Solutions are considered fully refundable deposits until the order has been shipped (fulfilled).

  • All products sold by Tramway IT Solutions are covered by the manufacturer’s original warranty, which is valid for a minimum of one year from the date of order, unless otherwise stated. Certain products may come with extended manufacturer warranties, and we fully honor these warranties as well.
  • If you encounter a faulty item, please contact us, and we will guide you through the return process. In such cases, the customer is responsible for arranging the shipment of the faulty item back to Tramway IT Solutions, but we will cover the return shipping costs to send the item back to you.
  • In the unlikely event that a product is Dead on Arrival (DOA) or becomes faulty within 30 days of delivery, we will arrange for a courier to collect the item from you at no extra cost. Tramway IT Solutions will cover the shipping costs both ways, ensuring a hassle-free experience for you.
